CALL FOR PROPOSALS   IN-PERSON  Western Conference of the  Association for Asian Studies OCTOBER 5-6, 2023    West Yellowstone, USA Holiday Inn West Yellowstone On behalf of Western Conference for the Association for Asian Studies, Brigham Young-Idaho and the University of Montana, we are pleased to issue a Call for Papers for our 2023 in-person conference, October 5-6, 2023, in West Yellowstone, Montana. We will be joined for a Keynote address by AAS Vice President, Dr. Jean Oi, the William Haas Professor of Chinese Politics and Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies at Stanford University. Call for Proposals   We welcome proposals from all disciplines related to the broad theme of Asia Reopened: Reconsidering the Past and Present. We invite proposals for  including Roundtables and Workshops, and for , from faculty, graduate students, intendent scholars, and undergraduates (when part of an organized panel that is chaired by a faculty mentor).   Please submit a proposal using the WCAAS 2023 submission forms  and  by July 15th for priority consideration.
