Research Interests:ÌýMy broad research interests focus on understanding self-regulation, motivation, and decision-making factors that drive health behavior engagement. My current specificÌýprogram of research focuses on easy-to-implement strategies that individuals can use to improve their immediate affective experience of exercise, including the impact of health-monitoring technology on motivation to exercise, as well as whether it is better to engage in mindfulness or distraction during cardiovascular exercise.
¸é±ð²õ±è´Ç²Ô²õ¾±²ú¾±±ô¾±³Ù¾±±ð²õ:ÌýI am most involved in CU CHANGE projects that involve exercise research, and have spent most of my time in the lab working on the GEM study particularly. I also contribute to data analysis on a variety of lab projects.
