Be an Engineer AND a Venture Capitalist

A group shot of the Deming Center Venture Fund associates.
The Deming Center Venture Fund (DCVF) is ramping up recruitment efforts for the semester and looking for engineering graduate students interested in helping to fund early-stage startups in Boulder and surrounding communities.

The DCVF is an unparalleled opportunity for graduate students to talk to local entrepreneurs, attend pitch events in the Boulder and Denver area, perform due diligence on companies, and make investment decisions that impact the local startup community.

The fund received accreditation in 2017 and is managed by a cross-disciplinary team of CU Boulder graduate students. Team members benefit from the guidance of an experienced advisory board that includes university faculty, as well as local leaders in venture capital and angel investing.

Come learn more at a short info session at noon Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Colorado Law (Wolf 304). The main recruitment event will take place at the Dark Horse on Wednesday, March 7, from 6-8 p.m. The Dark Horse is located at 2922 Baseline Road in Boulder.
