    • 12 - 1 p.m.Solar Sails: Traveling the Solar System (and Beyond!) with Sunlight seminar. Speaker: Introduction by Dean Bobby Braun. Location: DLC Collaboratory.
    • 1 - 1:30 p.m. Post-seminar reception. Location: DLC Collaboratory.
    • 1:15 - 1:45 p.m. Astronaut Scholarship Awards and Ceremony for chemistry and physics undergraduate student Emma Simmerman. Being presented by CU Alumus Astronaut Joe Tanner. Location: Andrews Hall. Open to the public.
    • 4 - 7 p.m. Aerospace Tent at Ralphie's Corral. Location: Duane Field. Registration is closed.
    • 7 p.m. Kickoff at Folsom Field

  • Half time aerospace celebration at Folsom Field will feature VIP guests including bonafide astronauts:
    • Chris Deel: Director of Advanced Programs and Chief Architect at Colorado-based United Launch Alliance (ULA).
    • Rick Hieb:Flew on three Shuttle missions. CU Boulder aerospace instructor and graduate (MS AeroEngr鈥79).
    • Steve Jolly: Systems Engineering Director at Lockheed Martin Space Systems for GOES-R next generation weather satellite program.
    • Steve Lindsey:Flew on five Shuttle missions. Air Force Colonel (Ret). Now Sierra Nevada Corp Vice President of Space Exploration Systems.
    • Ann Smead and Michael Byram: whose generous contributions and advocacy of CU Engineering and the Smead Department of Aerospace Engineering Science have strengthened Colorado鈥檚 aerospace economy.
    • Rob Strain: President of Boulder-based Ball Aerospace and Senior Vice President of the Ball Corporation.
    • Joe Tanner: Flew on four Shuttle missions, including a Hubble servicing mission. Retired CU Boulder aerospace instructor.
  • The astronauts will be on air in the CU Buffs Radio Network booth during the third quarter.
