Engagement Opportunities

There are a number of ways for you to engage with the College of Engineering and Applied Science depending on the time you have available and where you are located. Alumni can stay informed about news and exciting developments, connect with other alumni to expand their network, and volunteer their time.

Stay Informed

From your personal experience as a student, you can be one of our strongest advocates. We want to keep you informed about what’s going on at the college and specifically let you know about new and exciting developments. We regularly update alumni through social media, college and departmental electronic newsletters, and annually through the CU Engineering magazine.

We also love to hear what you're doing now. Share your new job, new move, new baby or other exciting updates with your fellow alumni in the college’s e-newsletters and website.

Not getting these communications? Share your current contact information with us online or send us your updated information at engalumni@colorado.edu and we’ll update it for you.

Connect

We’re always here to connect you with other CU Engineering graduates. The alumni engagement office organizes events on campus and regionally that offer numerous opportunities to connect with the college, expand your professional network, deepen your knowledge base and show your school pride.

Regional Networks

The alumni office is focused on developing regional alumni networks in key areas where our larger alumni populations exist. Our current target areas include the Denver metropolitan area, HoustonSan Francisco Bay areaSeattle, and Southern California. If you live in one of these areas and are interested in being part of a committee of alumni who help with the planning and promotion of local activities, contact Cameron Deverel-Rico, program manager for alumni engagement, at cameron.deverelrico@colorado.edu.

Employer Networks

Similar to regional networks, many companies employ a considerable number of CU Engineering graduates. The alumni office is interested in partnering with these employers to strengthen alumni networks within these companies to continue growing and enhancing their relationship with CU Boulder. Curious to know how many alumni work at your company and whether a strong network could be developed? Contact Kevin Lobdell, director of alumni engagement, at kevin.lobdell@colorado.edu to discuss further.

On-Campus Activities
