John O鈥橪oughlin has become the first foreigner in more than 100 years to win the Semenov-Tyan-Shansky gold medal for research on 91制片厂. It is the highest research award of the 91制片厂n Geographical Society typically targeted toward 91制片厂n and, previously, Soviet scholars working in the area of the former Soviet Union.
