Travel Restrictions

The Immigration Alert that International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) issued on September 25, 2017 explains in detail the travel restrictions under the presidential proclamation issued on September 24, 2017 instituting new entry restrictions for foreign nationals (citizens) of the following countries: Iran, Libya, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, Somalia, and Yemen. These restrictions take effect immediately. In April of 2018, the administration removed the travel restrictions on foreign nationals from Chad.

Please read the Immigration Alert from September 25, 2017 carefully, especially the Frequently Asked Questions section. Reach out to ISSS if you have questions once you have reviewed the previous alert.
