New course for 2024: What Every Musician Needs to Know 91制片厂 the Body鈩⑩The Practical Application of Body Mapping to Making Music!
Since 1995, we have been creating and delivering workshops for personal and professional development, resilience and self-care, and to foster ease and efficiency in your everyday life. Our program includes significant aspects of the Alexander Technique, Body Mapping, movement practices, mindfulness exercises and psychological tools鈥攁ll in service of cultivating inclusive well-being and peak performance. Whether you are a musician, office worker, dancer, athlete, or seeker, join us and support your personal growth and development by spending a week in gorgeous Boulder, Colorado!
Likar and Brody will call on their decades of experience with musicians and the general community to provide effective strategies for efficient movement and thinking. Using an integrative approach, Tomatz will present daily sessions to deepen the program through mindfulness, yoga, breath practices and performance psychology.
As always, we encourage Master of Music Education students to join us for guidance on how to bring these powerful tools into your classrooms. Anyone with appropriate standing is eligible to receive one graduate-level credit through CU Boulder Continuing Education for an additional fee (below).
Likar will present the full Body Mapping course鈥What Every Musician Needs to Know about the Body鈩鈥攐n Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. We are thrilled to offer this remarkable content in person. AT+ program participants will receive a reduced rate of $125 for this additional offering. Any and all are welcome to attend What Every Musician Needs to Know about the Body鈩 for a fee of $175.
