Opt In to the Colorado Reverse Transfer Program (Targeted Message to Enrolled Students)
- We sent this email at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, to enrolled students who were identified by the Colorado Department of Higher Education as being eligible for this program.
- We also sent a reminder at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, to the same students, excluding those who had since opted into this program.
- We also sent a reminder at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, to the same students, excluding those who had since opted into this program.

According to our records, you're eligible to be considered for an associate degree from the community college you previously attended by opting in to .
This program allows students who've transferred from a Colorado community college to a Colorado university to combine and apply credits from both institutions toward an associate degree from the community college.
This means the associate degree you started at the community college may be awarded to you at no additional cost—immediately boosting your earning potential and career opportunities—while you continue to work toward your bachelor's degree at CU Boulder.

- If you've taken courses at any other college or university, be sure to have official transcripts sent to your community college so they can evaluate that work as well.
What Happens Next
After your opt in, your former community college will review your degree eligibility starting in September.
- If you're eligible for a degree, it will be awarded to you automatically. The community college will contact you via the email you provided on the opt-in site.
- If you still need a few more credits, you will be contacted.
