Spring 2025 Full-Semester Waitlists Canceled, 2/3 /registrar/2025/02/04/spring-2025-waitlists-canceled Spring 2025 Full-Semester Waitlists Canceled, 2/3 Anonymous (not verified) Tue, 02/04/2025 - 03:22 Tags: Enrollment Processing Faculty & Staff Announcements Spring 2025 CU-SIS Development Team Related Communications to Students

On Monday, Feb. 3, we canceled (a.k.a., purged) the waitlists for Spring 2025 Main Campus Boulder full-semester (Session B) Western Colorado (Session BWU) classes.

Waitlists for Boulder Law full-semester (Session BLW) classes were canceled on Jan. 31 and waitlists for Colorado Mesa (Session BMU) classes will be canceled on Feb. 10.

To request a snapshot of the students who were still on a class waitlist when it was canceled, please email cusisdev@colorado.edu. The report also includes students who were waitlisted for more than one section of a class or who were waitlisted for one section but enrolled in another.

As a reminder, students who remain on the waitlist through the cancellation date lose access to the class's online materials and no longer appear on the class roster; however, they may be eligible for course reservation the next time that course is offered.

If you have a question about waitlist functionality or a particular student’s enrollment, please email registrar@colorado.edu.

Additional waitlist cancellation dates are published on our web calendars:

Spring 2025 Post-Enrollment Requirement Checking (PERC) /registrar/2024/12/17/spring-2025-perc-schedule Spring 2025 Post-Enrollment Requirement Checking (PERC) Anonymous (not verified) Tue, 12/17/2024 - 00:00 Tags: Enrollment Processing Spring 2025 Registrar Network

The post-enrollment requirement checking (PERC) process will run in batch for spring according to the schedule below.

As a reminder, PERC gives admin users the ability to see if an enrolled student has met the requirements for a class and, if not, which requirements have not been met. Please note that the PERC process looks at both restrictions (major restrictions, minimum unit restrictions, etc.) and prereqs/coreqs that are set up as requisites on the class.

For more detailed information about using PERC, navigation, using the drop feature via the PERC roster, etc., please see our PERC webpage.

Please note the following:

  • If you want to drop a student because they do not meet the requirement, you can do so through the deadline to drop without a W grade, but you should try to have these done before the first day of classes when possible. If you drop a student, you are responsible for contacting the student to let them know they've been dropped and why.
  • For spring, we'll run PERC according to the following schedule:
    • Run twice before classes begin (after grade processing has completed) – night of Jan. 3 and Jan. 9, 2025
    • Run after first week of classes – night of Jan. 17, 2025
    • Run the day after the add deadline for Session B – night of Jan. 23, 2025
  • In the past, auditors enrolled by Continuing Education staff after the B session add deadline had a PERC note entered on the record. For Spring 2025, this note will not be entered. Since it’s clear who is auditing when looking at a class roster, there is less need for a note and it eliminates an additional step during the manual auditor enrollment process.

Intersession Term Processing Reminders: Winter Session, Maymester and Augmester /registrar/2023/04/11/intersession-term-processing-reminders-winter-session-maymester-and-augmester Intersession Term Processing Reminders: Winter Session, Maymester and Augmester Anonymous (not verified) Tue, 04/11/2023 - 11:48 Tags: Enrollment Processing Faculty & Staff Announcements Spring 2023 Registrar Network

It is important that faculty, advisors and students are aware of how student enrollments in CU Boulder’s intersessions are assigned and handled in term processing.

As a reminder, intersessions use the following term assignments:

  • Winter Session: Spring Semester
  • Maymester: Summer Session
  • Augmester: Summer Session

For example, Winter Session is officially part of Spring Semester at CU Boulder. Registration for Winter Session classes occurs along with enrollment for other spring classes, tuition is billed as part of Spring Semester, student enrollments are reported in Spring Semester counts and financial aid is packaged as part of Spring Semester awards, if applicable. This also means that seniors planning to graduate in December must complete all requirements by the close of Fall Semester. Winter Session credits do not count toward fall graduation. Both Maymester and Augmester are part of Summer Session and therefore, enrollments in these intersessions are treated and reported accordingly.

Exceptions will not be made to how these enrollments are handled in term business processes or toward degree eligibility. We appreciate your help advising students accordingly!

If you add an undergraduate student to a class after Friday, Sept. 9 (census), please remember to ask them whether they're receiving COF.

If they are, submit our y by Dec. 9 to document the reasons for the late add. If you have difficulty accessing the survey, you may email the information to cof@colorado.edu.

Why We're Asking for This

In accordance with state guidelines, we may only apply the COF stipend to a late-added class if the delay was due to circumstances beyond the student's control. For more information, see Add a Student to a Class.
