SLHS Embraces Diversity and Inclusion

Diverse Hands

A diverse and inclusive learning environment is a core value in the SLHS community. The students, faculty and staff in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences are deeply committed to their mission of improving lives for individuals with communication disorders and disabilities. We are committed to making our undergraduate and graduate programs ones that foster an environment of inclusion and diversity. That is, we seek to have our community be one in which individuals including from historically underrepresented backgrounds, identities, and cultures have a voice and are supported. The CU SLHS community continues its commitment to active dialogue regarding diversity and inclusion in our interactions with each other, in our learning and teaching, and in our research and scholarship.
