What is Goal Ball? A team sport originally devised to help rehabilitate war veterans, goal ball is played by visually impaired athletes who use blackout masks to ensure equality. Two teams of three players wearing eyeshades try to score points by throwing a ball with bells inside into their opponent's goal at the other end of the court. It has been an since Toronto 1976.Ěý
