This afternoon, a reporting party told police that he was threatening suicide in the East Campus Jenny Smoly Caruthers Biotech Building. The person of interest said he had a gun.
In an abundance of caution, officers with guns drawn entered the building and did not find the person of interest. Officers reached him by phone and determined there was no longer a threat. At approximately 5:45 p.m.Ěýofficers located the person of interest and placed him in custody.
