5 ways to stay active during Maymester
Welcome to Maymester, Buffs! For some students this time of year means taking classes, and for others it means the start of summer. But no matter what you’re up to this Maymester, you’re invited to stay active with The Rec.
Here are five things you can do to stay active this Maymester:
Hit the weights
Since your spring membership is active until the end of Maymester (June 2), you can come in and use the equipment anytime the Rec Center is open.
Take a free group fitness class
Another Maymester treat is free group fitness classes for all active members, guests and affiliates. No registration or experience is necessary. Fitness Schedule
Swim in the Buff Pool
The ever popular Buff Pool is back open. Bring your friends for a lounge in the sun, some water volleyball, or just to say that you’ve swam in a buffalo shaped pool.
Enjoy free bouldering and climbing shoe rentals
Whether you’re a seasoned climber, or always wanted to try it, Maymester is the perfect time to go for a climb.
Cool down in the ice rink
Need a break from the heat? Cool down with a skate on the ice.
