A lighthearted homage to Colorado Shakespeare Festivalâs academic settings on the CU Boulder campus,ĚýLoveâs Labourâs LostĚýfollows four young men who make a pact to concentrate only on learning and swear off loveâjust as the four loves of their lives wander by. CSF sets this Shakespearean comedy at the turn of the 20th century.
âLoveâs Labourâs LostĚýis the original rom-com,â said Orr. âWe havenât seen it on our stage in 10 years and we canât wait to revisit it. As with any Shakespeare play, itâll be interesting to hear what this play has to say to us now.â
Performances are set for Friday, Aug. 3; Saturday, Aug. 4; Wednesday, Aug. 8; and Sunday, Aug. 12.
