This week brings the Colorado Law Fair, free lunch on the quad, a suicide prevention workshop, a yoga class and LuluLemon pop-up, NoMBe and Ashe concert, Homecoming Carnival, archery tag, a Cuban salsa dance party and West Side Story at Macky.

Monday, Oct. 22

Join the University of Colorado’s Pre-Law Office, Phi Alpha Delta and the Western Association of Prelaw Advisors (WAPLA) for the 2018 Annual Colorado Law Fair. If you are considering law school, stop by the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Homecoming kickoff lunch

Kick off Homecoming week with a free lunch on Norlin Quad! Visit the quad between noon and 2 p.m. for free food and games.

Join a suicide prevention and safety assessment workshop offered by Catalyse Counseling. They will present an online course that captures signs, symptoms and solutions in suicidology. Email twloha.ucb@colorado.edu to sign up. It runs 6–8 p.m. in Hellems 252.


Tuesday, Oct. 23

CorePower Yoga class, Lululemon pop-up

Visit the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom at 5 p.m. for a free yoga class! Whether you’re an experienced yogi or this is your first time on the mat, all are welcome. Lululemon and Shop Sankalpa will have pop-up shops for the last hour of the event. Lululemon will be providing screen printing, so you can get a special Homecoming logo printed for free on the items you buy! Registration is not required.

Need more things to do?

presents CU’s 2018 Homecoming concert featuring NoMBe and Ashe in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for the public. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.


Thursday, Oct. 25

Homecoming Carnival

Join CU Student Government and the Rec Center on the Sewall lawn at 11 a.m. for the second annual Homecoming Carnival. Come for free food, swag items and more.

Buffalo Nites: Archery Tag

Head to the Rec Center at 8 p.m. for free food and archery tag.


Friday, Oct. 26

Homecoming parade and pep rally

Gather on in front of the courthouse at 7 p.m. to celebrate your CU spirit with students, fellow alumni and the community! Stop by the Alumni Association spirit tent across from the Boulder Courthouse Lawn starting at 6:30 p.m. to grab a free pom-pom to cheer on the students, athletes and marching band during the parade. After the parade, stick around for the pep rally celebrating football and men’s and women’s basketball. You don't want to miss this fun night of CU pride.

Fri-Yay Nights: Cuban Salsa Dance Party

Dance the night away at the Cuban Salsa Party at The Rec! This event is free with a Buff OneCard. The dance party will be in Studio 2 at from 7 to 9 p.m.

West Side Story transports Shakespeare’s tragic Romeo and Juliet to the streets of 1950s New York, where two star-crossed lovers on opposite sides of a bitter gang rivalry fight to keep their relationship alive.
