Twenty-six graduate students at CU Boulder have received National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowships, a prestigious award that recognizes and supports outstanding students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. In addition, 33Ěýgraduate students received honorable mention recognition.
“That CU Boulder graduate students are consistently winning this prestigious NSF award speaks volumes about the quality of our students and graduate education here,” said Scott Adler, dean of the Graduate School. “CU Boulder is a global leader in research and graduate education, and these awards exemplify that we are a destination for the world’s best graduate students.”ĚýĚý
Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 along with opportunities for international research and professional development. The 2020 fellowship recipients represent a wide range of scientific disciplines from across campus, including engineering, psychology, science policy, astronomyĚýand physics.
