This weekend brings an opportunity to make adventure accessible, a free showing of M3GAN, a festival featuring queer artists, a climate workshop, the TRANSforming Gender Conference, trivia night and more.

Friday, March 17

   3:30–7:30 p.m.    Beach Park, the Hill
Enjoy a night of Shrek, food and fire pits! The film begins at 6 p.m. 

   5–6 p.m.    Rec Center, Studio 2
Work out your core and improve stability in this Power Hour class. Free to anyone with a valid Buff OneCard. 

   7–9 p.m.    C4C Flatirons Room
This festival includes renowned queer writers and performers. These individuals are sharing their new work. 

   8 p.m.    CHEM 140
Friday Night Film Series is a popular event for students to come together and watch a film. This week, M3GAN is being shown. The sci-fi thriller follows a life-like doll built by a robotic engineer.


Saturday, March 18

   9 a.m.–2 p.m.    Idea Forge 
Discuss the roots of climate justice at the Climate Justice Workshop. Free food available to all participants. 

   10 a.m.–2 p.m    NCAR trailhead
Support those with limited mobility in a “trail trial.” Volunteers will assist adaptive athletes up a mountain trail. Those interested can sign up on .

   March 18–19    Koelbel Building
Join others to raise awareness about issues and identities in the trans community. This event is free for all.  

   7–10 p.m.    The Connection
Visit The Connection for a trivia night and a chance to win special prizes.


Sunday, Mach 19

   1–2 p.m.    Fiske Planetarium    $8–$12
With spring around the corner, you may want to take a look at the season’s origins. Understand the equinox and learn about spring’s constellations during this event. 

   2 p.m.    Macky Auditorium   $15–$46
Enjoy a wistful approach to Cinderella. The opera is sung in French and has English supertitles.
