This week brings free hummus, trivia night, a ChatGPT presentation, a panel of female professionals, a workshop on imposter syndrome, free brunch for first-gen students, a wildlife volunteer opportunity, peer wellness information and more. 

Monday, April 10

  2 p.m.   UMC north dining area
Start your week off with fellow Buffs and free hummus! Attendees will learn about different clubs and organizations across campus. 

  7–9 p.m.   The Connection 
Put your knowledge to the test every other Monday at The Connection. Prizes available for top finishers.


Tuesday, April 11

Goat Yoga

  Various times   Rec Center lawn
Practice yoga with baby goats! The purpose of this exercise is to foster connection between people, movement and nature. 

  11 a.m.   Norlin Library east entrance
The Bandana Project is a campaign for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Learn how to support yourself and fellow Buffs.


Wednesday, April 12

  12:15–1:15 p.m.   ECCS 201
How much do you really know about AI software? This session will inform you about ChaptGPT and other generative AI.

Professional women from a variety of fields will share their experiences in the workforce. 


Thursday, April 13

  Noon–1 p.m.   Virtual
Have you ever experienced feelings of imposter syndrome? This presentation will cover forms of imposter syndrome and how to address the issue.

Friday, April 14

Join the Center for Inclusion and Social Change for a free brunch! This event is open to all first-gen students. 

  11 a.m.–5 p.m.   5761 Ute Highway, Longmont
Give back to your community by helping Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation prepare for the busy season. Volunteers will help with cleaning animal condos, setting up enrichment and completing other yard work.
