CU Book Access: Important things to know

, CU Boulder's equitable access course materials program, provides degree-seeking undergraduate students access to their required course materials by the first day of class for a one-time flat-rate price each semester.

Here are three important things to know:

  • The program charge of $279 (plus tax) for the fall 2023 semester will appear on student tuition and fee bills. Students may opt out of the program via the textbook portal in Canvas through the course drop deadline each semester for a full refund. The fall drop deadline is Sept. 13.
  • Digital materials are accessed via the “My Course Materials” link in Canvas. Students enrolled in courses requiring print materials will receive an email when those materials are ready for pickup.
  • Students receiving financial aid may need to authorize their aid so it can pay toward all charges on their bill. In this case, a to-do item will appear in the Buff Portal on the Financial Aid tile.
