- University of Colorado Athletic Hall-of-Famer Cliff Branch finally had his dream come true, posthumously, as he was selected for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame—class of 2022. The induction will take place in Canton, Ohio, in August.
- Colorado men's basketball will host the first round of the National Invitation Tournament at 9 p.m. on March 15. Colorado women’s basketball is heading to the NCAA Tournament for a game at 11:30 a.m. on March 18.
- This Friday and Saturday, the CU track and field program is sending six student-athletes to the NCAA championships, five of them women. This represents the largest female contingent from CU competing at nationals in individual events since 2001.
- The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2022 class of the Pac-12 Hall of Honor, including Jenny Simpson, who was a member of the cross-country and track and field teams from 2005–09. She is one of the most decorated athletes in CU history.
