A. David Hill Endowed Scholarship in Geography
Established in honor of Professor Hill to support students from geographic areas and socioeconomic backgrounds who are historically underrepresented in the field of Geography, and/or students who have faced unusual adversity.Ìý Applicants must be a full-time senior majoring in Geography and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Geography. The scholarship award of $1,500 will be split equally between the fall and spring semesters. . Deadline to apply: March 15, 2025.
DigitalGlobe Foundation Scott Smith Memorial Undergraduate Award
Established by DigitalGlobe, Inc. in memory of their founder, Scott Smith.Ìý Applicants must be Geography majors with a concentration in GIS, Remote Sensing, Spatial Analysis or Cartography and have full-time junior or senior status for the academic year at the time of award $1000 (credited toward Fall tuition).Ìý ÌýDeadline to apply: March 15, 2025
Karl and Barbara vonDreden Stacey Scholarship in Geography
Established by Katherine and Frank Baxter in honor of Katherine's parents, Barbara Von Dreden (CU class of 1940) and Karl Stacey (CU class of 1936).Ìý Applicants must be Geography majors, be a full-time student at the time of the award, and have a 3.0 GPA in Geography.Ìý Preference will be given to students who graduated from a Colorado high school. $2500 (split equally between Fall and Spring tuition).Ìý Geography Majors will be automatically considered when they fill out the CU Boulder General Scholarship Application.ÌýDeadline to apply: March 15, 2025
Theodore C Myers Memorial Scholarship
Named in honor of long-time geography instructor Ted Myers. Scholarship is awarded to the undergraduate student with the most exceptional honors thesis.
