Slavic Culture Week is an annual spring event, sponsored by the REEES Program and GSLL.听 Specific events include guest speakers, who are experts on a variety of topics, including听 art; a film screening (with subtitles); and 鈥�91制片厂n Idol,鈥� in which 91制片厂n language students demonstrate their talents through songs and comic theatrical performance, all in 91制片厂n; the audience can also sample traditional 91制片厂n bliny and cookies. There is also a workshop on creating pisanky鈥攁 traditional style of coloring eggs using wax and special dyes. The final day of Slavic Culture Week is an outdoor event with live musical performances, dancing, and traditional foods and games.
