Paul Schroeder
Focus Area: Thermo Fluid Sciences - Greg Rieker Group
Paul's research focuses on implementation of frequency comb diagnostics in harsh, combustion environments.
He has made the first high-temperature, broadband water measurements to investigate the validity of internationally utilized absorption databases and has recently completed a measurement campaign with Robert Wright, Sean Coburn, and Dr. Rieker in CU's gas turbine power plant measuring water, CO2, CO and CH 4 and temperature the turbine exhaust.
He will also undertake a measurement campaign at Colorado School of the Mines with Dr. Jason Porter and Madison Kelley to measure in situ water concentration and temperature inside a coal gasifier.
