Ralphie's Advising Help Lab staff provide easily accessible and accurate academic advising and registration support to all CU Boulder undergraduate students. We are easily accessible both in person, at the CASE building room E251, and online through the .
Advising is more than offering information about academic courses and registration; it also involves encouraging you to answer important questions about the nature and direction of your education. Advisors are here to get to know you, help you explore and understand your options, and personalize your overall academic experience.
At CU Boulder students can conduct their own research through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) and receive funding to attend academic conferences via the Professional and Academic Conference Endowment (PACE). They can gain valuable experience through multiple co-curricular opportunities or via participation in departmental or campus-wide honors programs. And they can apply for some of the most prestigious competitive scholarships through our Top Scholarships program.

Career Services, located within the Division of Student Affairs, can assist from day one by helping students discover their strengths, understanding how their interests link to various careers and professions, exploring related majors, locating internships, building resumes and finding jobs.
Globalization increases our interdependence among nations and presents opportunities for careers that span the entire globe. CU Boulder offers multiple opportunities for students to expand their knowledge base and interactions with people and cultures far and wide. Through our first-year international seminars, , and other opportunities, students can expand their horizons to become true global citizens.
CU Boulder welcomes students from around the globe. International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) supports international students via advising, programming, and advocacy. The International Student Academic Success Program provides tutoring for international students, creates opportunities for international students to showcase their talents, and supports international students through mentoring and information sharing. The program also promotes international student success through special workshops for faculty working with international students.
At CU Boulder, students have several math courses to choose from, based on their intended major. While some courses do not require a prerequisite or prior math experience, others will require a math readiness test or the completion of prerequisite coursework.

The CU Boulder Writing Center is an academic support service that offers writers from all academic disciplines and skill levels the opportunity to work one-on-one with professionally trained writing consultants. Services are available free of charge to current CU Boulder undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni and university affiliates.
