Research Opportunities

Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Conducting research as an undergraduate student gives you an opportunity to explore your passions–no matter what your major. At the University of Colorado Boulder, our faculty members are committed to working with undergraduate students. Our students participate in ground-breaking research, have their work published and have opportunities to present at conferences, giving them a significant advantage as they apply for jobs, graduate school and prestigious fellowships.

  • UROP supports research partnerships between faculty and undergraduate students from numerous academic areas.

  • Undergraduate engineering students can earn hourly wages while engaging in research with CU-Boulder faculty and graduate students.

Graduate Programs

Graduate students are integral to our research endeavors. Each of our nine colleges and schools provides an array of research opportunities for graduate students. We encourage students interested in graduate studies to reach out to a department to learn about specific programs and research opportunities.
