The CU Boulder School of Education is a nationally recognized leader in education research. For the past ten years, the school has ranked consistently within the 90th percentile of scholarly productivity by faculty among colleges and schools of education nationwide.

The School of Education is nationally recognized for its research and development that serves to advance greater equity and justice in education. In particular, our faculty are internationally recognized for expertise in research-practice partnerships, community-engaged research, studies of bilingualism and biliteracy, policy, and assessment. In addition, we have clusters of excellence among faculty in STEM education; teacher education and teacher learning; literacy studies; and learning sciences and human development.

Our commitments to social justice and educational transformation is at the heart of our mission, and it is woven into the fabric of research activities.

Our distinguished faculty are respected researchers and excellent teachers who have strong connections with community partners.
