Academic Departments and the Graduate School

The Graduate School and academic departments offer a variety of merit-based programs including grants, fellowships, research and teaching assistantships, from outside agencies. If you wish to be considered for these, contact your department. If you receive federal financial aid and a tuition waiver as part of a graduate assistantship or research assistantship, your tuition waiver will be considered financial aid and listed in your financial aid offer.

Leeds School of Business

The Leeds School of Business offers scholarships, fellowships, and assistantships. Select the academic program you are interested in to learn more about the type of aid that is available.

School of Law

The School of Law offers a variety of scholarships. Incoming law students are automatically considered for scholarships based on their admissions application.

International Graduate Students

Only U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens may receive federal financial aid. However, the Graduate School, the College of Business and Administration, and the School of Law may offer aid to international students. Visit the Office of International Education to learn about additional resources for graduate students.

The Graduate Student Fee Grant is no longer available after the 2021-22 school year. The grant was previously funded by the CU Boulder Student Capital Construction Fee.
