- At the 2018 Best Should Teach Lecture and Awards Ceremony, CU Boulder will celebrate excellence in education by recognizing five faculty members, three K-12 teachers in local school districts and many graduate student teachers with awards.

- At the International Conference of the Learning Sciences (ICLS) held at the London Festival of Learning in London from June 23-27, the International Society of the Learning Sciences (ISLS) will appoint CU Boulder School of Education Professor and Associate Dean for Research Joseph Polman as president.
